The Label

The Baby Robot Records’ founders met in the summer of 2016, in line for the keg during a party at veteran Los Angeles label Dangerbird. Being the gentlemen they are, one ended up pumping some cold beers for the others, they struck up a conversation and soon bonded over their passion for music, cheap eats and their unanimous desire to forego industry networking talk and just get straight down to the business of hanging out.

Run by a crew whose members have learned a lot about the business over the years, mostly by making their own mistakes, Baby Robot Records is about friendship, camaraderie and music discovery. A gang of underdog dreamers sharing in the creative spirit, helping fellow artists chase their own wild muse wherever it leads, and then meticulously hunting down the fans who’ll connect with it most and dropping it on their turntable or adding it to their favorite new playlist, injecting some much-needed moments of bliss, revelry and connection in this lonesome, mixed-up world.
